OUR STAFF
Tim Phillips
Employee since 1998. Timothy started part time at Classic Heating at age 16. As part time help he worked mostly in the shop, doing deliveries and pushing a broom. After graduation he spent a few years as shop manager, fabricating sheet metal and managing shop inventory. In 2002 he decided to get out of the shop and started as installer’s helper, and later became a lead installer. In 2015 Timothy purchased the family company from his father and is now the President.
Dave Podgorski
Employee since 1989. With more than 35 years of experience in the Heating and Air conditioning field Dave was one of the first Employees of Classic when we started in 1989. Currently he handles most of our sales and overseas the installations. His years of in the field experience make it easier for him to recommend the right equipment for your job.
Dave Wahls
Employee since 1999. With over 25 years of service experience Dave is our lead service tech and handles most of our refrigeration and chiller service.
Keith VanMoen
Employee since 1994. Keith started at Classic Heating after graduating from high school. With over 20 years experience as an installer he decided to move into the service side of the industry. He is now able to both install equipment as well as perform service calls and maintenance.
Barb Wright
Employee since 1994. Call our office and chances are that Barb will be the voice on the other end of the phone. She manages the office as well as doing most of the scheduling.
Jim Phillips
Employee since 1996. Jim also started at Classic right out of high school. He is the lead installer on most of the new construction work we do as well as some of the replacements
Rob Gentry
Employee since 2015. Rob has been in the hvac field for about 10 years. He currently works mostly in the new construction and residential fields
Jason Schmotzler
Employee since 2014. Jason attended Macomb Community College where he received a degree in Hvac. Currently he helps with in installations.
